Mu Chongyan felt as though he was simply being thrown into a bottomless body of water, and felt completely lost.
“It smells good….”
“Hehehe.” Bai Rong happily raised his chin and hugged Mu Chongyan’s finger, “I used the tiger bath treasure you got the salesperson to exchange last time. Doesn’t it smell better than the sweet scent those rabbit and duck treasures had?”
“…..En.” Mu Chongyan’s head had shut down so he simply didn’t hear what Bai Rong was saying.
“Let’s go.” Bai Rong tugged Mu Chongyan’s finger and spoke with an excited tone, “Let’s go eat breakfast.”
Mu Chongyan was still lost in a daze, “…..Ok.”
……Half an hour later, Bai Rong stood in front of the crystal glass case, worriedly looking at Mu Chongyan’s leaving figure.
Had Mu Chongyan turned foolish from staying up all night yesterday, why was he so…..out of it today? He even drank the soup through his nose….
After standing in place for a long while, a sliver of regret flashed across Bai Rong’s face. It was all his fault for putting on his best performance yesterday and training nonstop until 5am in the morning. Otherwise, why else would his wife look so withered today?
He wasn’t a good husband for failing to consider that his wife’s physique was not as manly as his….
Regret and distress painting his little face, Bai Rong stamped his feet in annoyance before turning around and trudging back to the villa.
He should probably study and train well to achieve merits to atone for his crimes.
Putting complete concentration in studying the spell card information for 6 hours, and arduously spending 3 hours to carry out the basic training program Mu Chongyan had drafted up for him, Bai Rong casually took a bottle of nutrient dose and turned his body over in bed like a fried fish…
A tough man like him was completely worn out….
Propping himself up with difficulty, Bai Rong beat his waist before heading over to the neighboring card making room to make two basic spell cards. After inserting them into the card detector, he then walked back into the bedroom.
Seeing that it was already 6:06pm, Bai Rong reckoned that Mu Chongyan was going to arrive home in half an hour and quickly entered the star net.
He was going to use this time to relax a bit. Hopefully, it wouldn’t be too much…
However, as soon as he entered the omnipresent forum, the number of @ tags pierced his eyes.
“Where did such a narcissist come from? Actually daring to claim himself as Male God Mu’s only lover. Did the male god himself admit to this? Why don’t you just stick gold on your own face!”
“Wow, it’s been a long time since I’ve seen someone act so shamelessly. Doesn’t she know that Male God Mu hates it when other people use his real name directly. It’s even written on his profile. What a trash. She’s not even fit to become Male God Mu’s fan!
“Tsk tsk, she even stated in her profile that she’s a top interstellar Spell Card Master. She’s really going all out for the sake of catching attention.”
“Trash, get out of our Mumu fan circle!”
Seeing a string of intense and even vile insults in the forum, Bai Rong’s eyes instantly turned red and his little hands instantly clenched into fists.
What rights did they have to insult him like this? Everyday, they claim themselves to be “Male God Mu’s Wife“, did Mu Chongyan himself agree to it?
Now that he mentioned Mu Chongyan’s name, they banded up together to insult and attack him, did they think they were superior?
“Number 123333333, I’m not insulting you, I’m just telling you. Mumu has never liked anyone using his distinguished name just for laughs, so as Mu Chongyan’s fan, you should respect him. If you don’t understand, I’ll break it down for you. I hope you can quickly change it, don’t blame others for cursing you, they were all doing it with kind intentions even if their words seem impulsive. To tell the truth, they weren’t calling you much….”
Bai Rong stared at the “rational comment” mixed in with the barrage of insults, his little hand quivering from anger.
What passive aggressive double standard words, who were you trying to show off to?
Just as Bai Rong was about to reply back, a new headline suddenly appeared on the search results of the star net.
[Mu Chongyan fans hurl abusive insults to their own comrade]
In an instant, millions of people clicked inside and a couple of people entered Bai Rong’s page.
“Crazy b*tches, what kind of people are Mu Chongyan’s fans to actually dare attack their fellow companion?”
“Brainless fools, you almost made me, a passer-by, become an anti-fan of Mu Chongyan.”
Our Mumu had already become one of the top 3 warriors at such a young age and has obtained countless of achievements since young and has a magnificent and good looking face. If you want to become anti-fan then so be it. Who cares about you.”
”Brainless fools who only think of their idol! I’m definitely going to turn into Mu Chongyan’s anti-fan!”
“You’re all wrong. These people that insult others can’t be a part of our Mumu fans. We would never attack a fellow comrade or other netizens. We all have strict self-discipline and we observe all the rules. These people who insulted No. 123333333 must have done it on purpose. Let me express our deepest regrets, I hope everyone doesn’t get carried away by the tune being played.”
“That’s right, we have always been observing our own rules and would never insult someone like this. Please don’t get carried away by the rhythm…”
“Yeah. We would like to express our apologies. We hope that everyone doesn’t get played by the tune…”
Bai Rong watched the reversal happen in just a few minutes within the forum that had turned into complete frenzy and his little hands rubbed his red eyes while his brows were locked in a tight scrunch.
There was no mistaking that he had felt wronged and indignant just now, however, if he couldn’t see what was happening in truth, he would’ve been a fool. Were these people who were insulting and attacking him…actually doing it to smear Mu Chongyan’s image?
Seeing that the headlines shot from 500th place to the 1st place in a short 10 minutes time, anger flashed across Bai Rong’s eyes.
Someone wanted to taint Mu Chongyan’s perfect image!
Was it those forces who wanted to destroy Mu Chongyan?!!
Bai Rong’s eyes turned red from anger. What did Mu Chongyan do to them to warrant them harming him!
It was simply…bullying!!!!!!
Just as he was about to launch a clarification, a burst of familiar footsteps suddenly resounded from afar.
Bai Rong’s eyes glinted and he quickly closed his optical computer and dashed out of the villa.
Just before Mu Chongyan walked towards the crystal glass case, he saw the little sweet cake carrying the optical computer out with great effort. His eyes were completely red and he looked as though he had just gotten bullied which immediately made his heart clench.
“What‘s wrong?” Mu Chongyan immediately crouched down and gently lifted the star pet up with his optical computer, his tone anxious, “Who bullied you?”
“It’s not me….” Bai Rong looked at Mu Chongyan aggrievedly, his finger pointing at the screen. “Look at this.”
He wasn’t feeling distress for himself, he was feeling distressed for Mu Chongyan.
Mu Chongyan immediately turned the screen to him and his eyes quickly swept through it.
Before he could even notice why the star pet had written “Mu Chongyan’s only lover” in his profile, Mu Chongyan saw the barrage of insults targeted towards his star pet and a flame of anger was immediately lit in his eyes. After a few seconds, he took the computer away from the little star pet’s chest and placed it on the side, then, he kissed the little star pet’s head in distress, “Those people who insulted you were in the wrong. I will make them pay the price so don’t be sad anymore…alright?”
“It’s not that…” Bai Rong hurriedly shook his head, “There’s someone who wants to harm you! Those people don’t seem to be your fans, they…”
“I know, I will handle this.” Mu Chongyan carried Bai Rong to the sofa and sat down, placing him in his arms. Then, he quickly issued an order to v67.
“It’s alright.” Mu Chongyan rubbed Bai Rong’s head. “You don’t need to worry, looks like…those forces were aiming to use the forums to destroy me after trying to wreck my constitution, thereby completely oppressing me.” The corner of Mu Chongyan’s lips revealed a cold smile, his expression turning frighteningly cold. “However, they won’t get away with it.”
Bai Rong hugged Mu Chongyan’s finger and stared at him determinedly, “I believe in you!”
Mu Chongyan lowered his head and saw a concerned and firm little star pet staring at him, and the coldness in his heart melted unwittingly, “….En.”
“Those people were too much, we definitely have to…” Bai Rong angrily jabbered on, waving his fist around and not realizing that Mu Chongyan’s gaze was turning strange….
After speaking for a full 10 minutes, Bai Rong’s throat had turned parched and he finally realized that Mu Chongyan hadn’t spoken for a long time.
“….Mu Chongyan?” Bai Rong raised his head in confusion.
“Actually….” Mu Chongyan gently picked Bai Rong back in his hand and raised him to eye-level, “I also have another question I want to ask.”
“What is it?” Feeling that Mu Chongyan was asking him for help, Bai Rong’s heroic spirit immediately dashed forth as he raised his brows, “Tell me!”
“This…” Mu Chongyan turned the screen to an angle that was visible to both of them, “What does this…..’Mu Chongyan’s only lover’ mean?”
The author has something to say:
Classmate Bai Rongrong: How dare you say you’re a tough man?
Are you trying to ask the heavens for a development?!!
Bai Rong (crouch in the corner): development my ass…I’ve already been exposed…
Mu Chongyan (hugs waist and bites Bai Rongrong’s ear): Baby, why don’t you explain that profile?
